Physicians’ Fall Retreat 2026

Rediscovering the Wisdom of the Body:
Tria Principia

What to Expect

Join us for a 3½-day immersive retreat exploring a living, holistic approach to patient observation and physical examination. Through an exploration of the Tria Principia—a threefold understanding of the body and the fundamental processes of nature—participants will develop new powers of perception and deepen their ability to recognize relationships between structure, function, illness and healing.

To support close faculty interaction, collegial exchange, and experiential learning, participation is limited to 25 physicians.

This retreat will weave together time in nature, reflective practice, hands-on labs, small group work, artistic activity and clinical case discussion to cultivate new organs of perception for medical practice. Through a threefold study of nature and body morphology, participants will learn to perceive the dynamic relationship between structure and function and discover clinical insights into individual constitutions, disease processes, and therapeutic interventions in order to access deeper levels of healing. For those interested, additional webinars on how to use the Tria Principia for anthroposophic prescribing will be offered in the weeks following the retreat.

Reflective Practice and CME/CE Credit

PAAM is pleased to offer participants access to Learner+, a clinician-centered platform that awards CME/CE credit for the certified activity Reflective Practice, jointly provided by CME Outfitters.

Reflection time has been intentionally built into the retreat curriculum. Participants may use these structured opportunities to document eligible reflections in Learner+ as their learning unfolds.

CME/CE credit is awarded through Learner+ for the participant’s reflective activity—not for attendance at the retreat or for PAAM’s educational content. Participants who complete eligible reflections may earn up to 20 CME/CE credits through Learner+.
