This list is maintained by the Physicians' Association for Anthroposophic Medicine. To appear on this list practitioners must be a state-licensed MD, DO, NP or PA. They must be a current member of PAAM, and they must choose to be listed here (not all members choose to be listed).
PAAM has specified, for the benefit of those seeking care, the practitioners who have certified in Anthroposophic Medicine. You will see a note of certification beneath their listing. If the practitioner is not indicated as certified, they may still be extensively trained in Anthroposophic Medicine, but not yet certified, or they may have received only a basic introduction to Anthroposophic Medicine. It is advised to contact the office of the practitioner(s) of interest directly to inquire further about the extent of their training.
PAAM has also specified the practitioners (MDs, DOs, NPs and PAs) who have completed at least one course within the PAAM Mistletoe Training Program. They are noted as “trained in mistletoe therapy”. Practitioners indicated as “extensively trained in mistletoe therapy” have completed the more rigorous training and mentoring offered within the PAAM Mistletoe Apprenticeship Program. Practitioners noted as “certified in Anthroposophic Medicine”, but not noted as “trained in mistletoe therapy” may be even more experienced in mistletoe therapy than those specifically listed as having been “extensively trained”. Please reach out directly to the offices of the practitioner(s) to inquire.
A listing of naturopathic doctors (NDs) trained in Anthroposophic Medicine and/or mistletoe therapy can be found here on the website for the Society of Physicians of Anthroposophic Naturopathy.
The degree of experience in Anthroposophic Medicine, qualifications, competence and method of practice varies from physician to physician. This list is not a specific endorsement by PAAM of any individual practitioner. PAAM assumes no responsibility or guarantee, and disclaims all liability in respect of claims made by listed physicians.
