How To Cultivate Your Will To Heal

Who are you and why do you take care of people?

Physicians’ Association for Anthroposophic Medicine (PAAM) is a member organization dedicated to helping all healthcare professionals cultivate their will to heal through Anthroposophic Medicine.

Because, we recognize each individual brings differing degrees of interest, knowledge, motivation, and available time for learning, we offer multiple educational options.

Training You for a New Paradigm in Holistic Care

Anthroposophic medical trainings are offered for health professionals in 32 different countries and on five continents. The training program for the U.S. and Canada is sponsored by PAAM and is open to all licensed prescribers (MD, DO, ND, NP, PA, DDS and PharmD), as well as students of those disciplines still in training.

The Anthroposophic Medical Training program offers multiple types of learning experiences:

  • Intensive training conferences

  • Live online group sessions

  • In-person clinical mentoring workshops

  • One-on-one phone/online mentoring

The full Anthroposophic Medical Training curriculum for certification offered by PAAM consists of four Training Conferences and participation in a three-year Clinical Mentoring Program.

How you receive learning
is just as important as the material itself

  • Introduction to Anthroposophic Medicine

It begins with learning methods for enlivening your observation of the world. Our introductory courses are designed to allow you to enter at your pace.

  • Training Weeks

There are four foundational trainings for Anthroposophic Medicine. The next training will be held during the AnthroMedicine Conference in Spring 2024.

  • Mistletoe Course

A recorded combined course is now available, and future online and in-person events are being planned.

  • Certification in Anthroposophic Medicine

If you know this is your path to healing, then pursue the three-year certification in Anthroposophic Medicine.

“My first Anthroposophical Medical Training in 2008 was a game-changer for my career path. The AMT opened my eyes to an international medical movement that has been blossoming for almost a century. This medical movement views the human being, not just in a physical, biological sense, but includes in its view the human being as a potentially evolving spiritual being. Having this wider view of the possibilities of each human being improved how I felt about practicing medicine and was necessary for me to feel good about my relationship with patients. Who will benefit from the AMT? Anyone who has a longing to go deep into the heart of medicine and a yearning to understand why a human being really becomes ill. Anthroposophic Medicine is a holistic medicine that begins with its foundation in conventional medicine, but adds new dimensions that allow a practitioner to penetrate into the deeper layers of each unique, individual patient.”
